Information we collect

• Account and profile information: email address, name, role, profile details, age or date of birth, location, and account preferences.
• Sports and development information: training logs, recovery, nutrition, mental and cognitive activity, performance notes, reports, scores, and development history you choose to record.
• Content and communications: profile photos, highlight videos, messages, shortlists, scouting notes, and other content you upload or share.
• Subscription and transaction information: plan, entitlement, and transaction status. Payment card details are processed by the relevant app store or payment provider and are not stored by SportsFly.
• Device and usage information: device type, operating system, push-notification token and preferences, log data, diagnostics, and information about how the Services perform.
• Website analytics information: pages viewed, selected button and store-link interactions, campaign parameters, and browser or device information collected only after you allow optional analytics.
• Website campaign information: referral code and UTM source, medium, campaign, content, and term when you arrive through a campaign link and allow optional campaign measurement.

Browser storage and privacy choices

The SportsFly website uses browser storage rather than a general advertising-cookie system. Essential storage supports authentication, security, navigation, the selected checkout plan, and your privacy choice. Session values normally expire when the browser session ends.

With your permission, optional analytics loads Google Analytics and measures page views and selected website interactions. Optional campaign measurement also stores referral and UTM context for up to 30 days and sends relevant attribution to SportsFly systems. Your privacy choice is stored for up to 180 days. Rejecting or withdrawing optional analytics prevents further Analytics events and removes its Analytics and persistent attribution values. You can reopen Cookie & Privacy Settings from the website footer.

Google Analytics is not loaded before permission. Advertising storage, advertising personalization, and Google Signals remain disabled. SportsFly does not send account email addresses, names, passwords, or SportsFly user identifiers to Google Analytics.

How we use information

• Create, authenticate, and manage your account.
• Provide profiles, training logs, reports, discovery, messaging, shortlists, notifications, and other SportsFly features.
• Process subscriptions and maintain access to paid features.
• Respond to support, safety, privacy, and account requests.
• Protect the Services, prevent abuse and fraud, troubleshoot problems, and improve reliability and user experience.
• Comply with applicable law and enforce our agreements.

How we share information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate the Services, including cloud hosting, authentication, storage, payments, subscriptions, notifications, diagnostics, and customer support. They may process information only for the services they provide to us and subject to their contractual and legal duties.

Information you intentionally make public, such as a public player or scout profile, may be visible to other SportsFly users. Messages, notes, and private account information are limited to the users and features for which they are intended. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

Service providers and distribution platforms

SportsFly uses Supabase for services such as authentication, database, storage, and backend functions. Stripe processes web checkout and web subscription billing. RevenueCat helps process mobile subscription status connected with the applicable app store. Google Play distributes the Android application and may process store billing under Google's own terms and privacy practices. Apple provides the equivalent iOS distribution and store-billing environment when that channel is used.

When you allow optional website analytics, Google Analytics processes limited website usage and device information to provide aggregated measurement to SportsFly.

Payment-card details are entered with the payment or store provider and are not stored by SportsFly. Providers may receive device, network, account, transaction, or subscription information needed to deliver and secure their services.

Legal bases for processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process personal information to perform our contract with you, based on our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Services, with your consent, and to comply with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent.

Data retention and account deletion

We keep personal information only for as long as needed to provide the Services, meet the purposes described in this policy, and comply with legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, and security obligations. Retention periods depend on the type of data and the reason it is processed.

You can permanently delete your account from the SportsFly app or request deletion through SportsFly Support. Account deletion removes the account and associated app data from SportsFly systems, except for limited records we must retain where required or permitted by law. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal information, request a portable copy, or withdraw consent. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. To exercise a right, contact us using the address below. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Children and young players

SportsFly supports young football players and parent-managed experiences. A child should use SportsFly only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law. Parents and guardians may contact us to review, correct, or request deletion of a child's personal information. If we learn that information was collected from a child without required authorization, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own; where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as SportsFly evolves or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date. We will provide additional notice when required.
